What are the Protected Grounds Under the Ontario Human Rights Code (OHRC)?

The OHRC indicates the following are protected grounds:
Place of Origin
Marital Status (including being single)
Gender Identity and Expression
Receipt of public assistance (housing only)
Record of offences (employment only)
Sex (including pregnancy and breastfeeding)
The protected social areas are:
Goods, services, and facilities
Membership in Unions, Trade or Professional Associations
